Festival del Giornalismo 2016 - Official Program Details

On April 8, 2016, during the XX edition of the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Francesco Ongaro from ISGroup held the conference “The lost war on information security” in the Perugino Hall of Hotel Brufani. The presentation, included in the “Hackers’ Corner” section, addressed the deterioration of global information security caused by the uncontrolled growth of cloud computing and the loss of control over digital information. Ongaro analyzed the increasingly invasive role of organized crime, large corporations, and governments in managing “data bubbles,” highlighting the need for collective awareness to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal and corporate data.
