Hacking Linux VServer with 0day exploits - EndSummerCamp ESC10

On June 30, 2014, the official EndSummerCamp event website published the conference program for the ESC10 edition, confirming the participation of Francesco “ascii” Ongaro. Ongaro held a talk titled “Hacking Linux VServer with 0day exploits”, in collaboration with Alessandro “jekil” Tanasi. The presentation illustrated the exploitation of a zero-day vulnerability in a Linux paravirtualization environment, using techniques dating back to 1985, demonstrating the effectiveness of historical knowledge in modern security. The talk highlighted the technical and experimental approach of Team USH, of which Ongaro is co-founder.
