Swiss Industrial Systems Vulnerability Investigation - SonntagsZeitung Part 2

On December 1, 2013, SonntagsZeitung published a second in-depth analysis on the security test of Swiss infrastructures, carried out by Italian experts Francesco Ongaro and Gianluca Pericoli from IS Group. The article, signed by the editorial staff, reports that the two systematically analyzed over 2,700 industrial and service plants exposed to the Internet, listing the manufacturers and vulnerable devices. Ongaro stated that the objective was to “open the eyes of the Swiss,” emphasizing that, proportionally, Switzerland has more unprotected plants than Italy.
