ccc 25c3 hacking security-research lecture privilege-escalation exploit congress presentation slides speaker program

On January 10, 2009, the official Chaos Communication Congress portal confirmed the presence of Francesco “ascii” Ongaro among the speakers of the 25th edition of the event (25C3), held in Berlin in December 2008. His presentation, titled “Tricks: makes you smile”, was classified as a lecture in the “Hacking” track and delivered in English. The official congress program, published on the fahrplan.events.ccc.de site, included Ongaro among the speakers alongside prominent figures from the international hacker scene, consolidating his reputation in the European information security landscape.

During his technical session, accompanied by official slides published on the event’s website, Ongaro presented a collection of advanced penetration testing techniques, including local privilege escalation without exploits, still-effective level 3 attacks, and unconventional web attack methodologies. The content of the slides demonstrates a practical, creative, and deeply technical approach to offensive security. His lecture took place in the main hall Saal 3 and lasted one hour, presenting creative and uncommon attack techniques, some previously unpublished. The presentation was delivered in English and published on the official congress website.
